Let Me Be and Other Bastedo News

Bastedo first got together circa 2011. During that time we have had some great times together as a working band whilst sustaining full time careers. Lots of people who love making music have to do that. However, that does sometimes mean, we cannot make music as regularly as we'd like. It also sometimes makes performances more difficult. Especially as the band has morphed and evolved over the years. It's been several years since Bastedo have done any live performances, and it's not solely down to COVID.
We recorded Let Me Be several years ago, and their are live performances of it to be found on the Bastedo website. However, we would like to get out and about resuming our live music performances. It's a little tricky as Celia one of our vocalists has lived in France for the last several years. She has been an instrumental component of the Bastedo magic, and has always bought an amazing sense of joy and collaborative cooperation to our project. Unfortunately, Celia will not be able to be part of Bastedo the way she used to...so it is with great sadness we say goodbye to this phase of our evolution.
We will be looking for replacement vocalist/s for Live shows and recording. However Celia will always be a silent member of Bastedo. Thank you darling xxx
Let Me Be will be our latest release, because although we've performed it live many times, we had never recorded it. When we did record it, the aforementioned details made it difficult to know when to release it. Other things got in the way.
Well, now we have a new video...after SQUISH Media and Coco Padovani, once again collaborated to create the video for the single, It will be released on 18th November 2022.
